1897. Khabarosvk, a town in the Russian Far East. Three suspiciously spy-shaped Japanese men arrive to set up a barbershop; one of them young, eerily quiet, blank-faced and trigger-happy. He's teenage and unwell in a world he doesn't understand, mentored by a man he shouldn't let into his head, but does anyway.
