    Pete is annoying. Jack has feelings for Carter. And Carter has feelings for...well it's complicated. The recent events of her life make her feel like she's tangled in a web emotions with no clear way out. So, Carter does what she always seems to do: puts on a neutral face and soldiers on. But, when a simple recon mission goes awry, Carter may just find the key she needs to sort out this tangled web of feelings.

    Some cannon, some not. Story begins after Jack and Teal'c rescue Carter from the super soldier. Huge Jack/Sam slant (and then maybe Jack/Sam horizontal). Sorry not sorry, Pete.
