He’d do what he did best: kill. Purge the unnecessary. Sharpen his mind and will, shave off everything unneeded until all that was left was a tool that could deliver nothing but death. He’d rip and tear and shred the thoughts that dared to try and lead him astray. He would not fall into the trap.
If he were a lesser man, he would’ve already been ensnared. He was determined to prove that he was not.

Enjin notices it first, eyes going wide and unable to look away. Zanka doesn’t say anything, just lets him get an eyeful of the ten, pretty silver rings decorating his fingers and pretending that they’ve always been there, that they belong there.
Zanka takes good care of vital instruments. It’s why he’s considered the best at handling them, after all.
