Summary
The black umbrella shifted to the side, just enough for Shu to see his target's back through the sniper gun's built-in scope.
Shu narrowed his eyes, tracing the laser onto the back of the oblivious target's head. The red dot looked almost innocent against the shiny locks of blonde hair. He placed a finger on the trigger.
Three, two…
…one.
His target moved.
The head turned, in a leisurely manner, right to the rooftop where Shu was positioned.
Shu couldn't believe the next word that came out of his mouth…

Shu was never good at dealing with grief. He would either stifle it, hide it, anything to avoid the overwhelming feelings at all costs.
After Shu Yamino's life was torn apart, he wanted nothing more than to shove everything of what was into the forgotten depths of his mind. Thus, he threw himself at the only distraction he had at the time--becoming a sniper, an assassin.
But the past will always catch up to you, no matter how far you run. When a certain blonde-haired person and a pair of wisteria eyes find him again after eleven long years, Shu realizes he can’t run anymore.
