Gyuvin has made it a habit to bring mango graham to his neighbor whenever there are extra mangoes. Before long, Ricky grows fond of both the dessert and the deliveries.

The masochistic knife in Ricky’s gut twists, as it does every time he’s reminded of the promise they made as kids: their designations would never come in the way of their friendship. Even though Ricky would very much like them to, for selfish reasons. Pining for his best friend—how much more cliché could he get?
OR: Ricky is tired of dancing around his feelings for Gyuvin. So is Hao. Ricky just needs a boost in the right direction—and if he finally presents as an omega, even better.

“I like the views.”
Hanbin takes a look outside the window. All he can see is the parking garage and multiple trash cans. An aspiring graffiti artist seems to have drawn two ejaculating penises on the wall.
“The views,” Hanbin repeats.
“And the privacy,” Hao adds.
Hanbin moves out for the first time, convinced he's well prepared for bad roommates. He was not prepared for this.

“Do you ever think about getting out of here?”
Ricky looks at him oddly. “What? Like, move away?”
“Maybe,” Gyuvin thinks about it all the time, actually. At least a couple hundred times a day. He imagines what it’d be like to be with Ricky somewhere else, somewhere where their futures and lives weren’t already written and decided for them.
Gyuvin plays drums in a band and is someone nobody has ever paid attention to. Ricky sits at the top of the social food chain, spends money like it’s a hobby, and acts like being kind is a disease. Still, opposites attract, or whatever.
