Summary
Megan and Yoonchae had been in an established relationship for four years. They met during college and eventually moved in together, becoming inseparable. A few months had passed since they began living their dream life together. Megan worked as a fashion designer at Runway Fashion Magazine, while Yoonchae was a journalist for The New York Times. They lived a comfortable life in an apartment in Manhattan.
Things were perfect, they had finally settled in together, and eventually Yoonchae finally mustered up the courage to propose, and of course—Megan being Megan, said yes. They spent months planning their wedding, with a couple arguments, but nothing ever serious. Megan always said that it was a good problem to have. They were more than content with what they had, being ready to spend the rest of their lives together.
Until one morning, Megan woke up to an empty bed, with no Yoonchae to be found.
It had been six years since Yoonchae’s disappearance, and over time, Megan did her best to learn how to live without her. Eventually, she found peace with the situation—or at least convinced herself that she had.
Until one day, she unexpectedly comes face-to-face with Yoonchae for the first time in years.
