Summary

Now Complete!
An ultra slow burn Drarry retelling beginning the summer before fifth-year and continuing through the final battle at Hogwarts.
Harry begins to distrust Dumbledore after the events of his fourth year, turning to an unlikely source for knowledge and information. The Occupation of Malfoy Manor by Voldemort leads Draco down a path that diverges significantly from the rest of his family. An event early on sets in motion a large rift in the Golden Trio, ultimately resulting in irreparable damage. Harry learns what real friendship is and who he can trust while making several self-discoveries along his journey to rid the Wizarding World of Voldemort for good.
There are several plot points from the original source material that remain unchanged and are therefore only referenced and implied. While I don't care for the author's personal views, I enjoy her writing and will not be re-writing anything that happens as they appeared in the books. This fic is long enough as it is! There will be author notes for any chapter that includes or alludes to these scenes.
Please make note of the canonical character death tag and remember what happens in Order of the Phoenix.

Summary
It was over. Harry had done it. Voldemort was dead. The death Eaters had backed down. He looked up catching sight of platinum hair. Draco and his mother had helped in the end. The light probably would have lost if not for them. Harry caught his eye and smiled. Draco returned the gesture with a nod of his head. As he turned to walk back to his mother a blur of red crashed in to him. It was Ron with Draco's wand in hand pointed at Harry. Next to him stood a smirking Hermione and before he could say a word, a flash of green hit him.

****This is your generic harry goes back in time with a chip on his shoulder and gets a redo. Harry has a lot of noble titles that tie in to the lore i am building. There will be a lot of lore in this fic. It is not romance oriented but depending on how things go there may be one in the future, but it is in no way decided.

Silence was a patient listener, absorbing his words and leaving a calm space for Keigo to fill with his presence. He settled into the chair beside the bed, leaning forward, elbows resting on his knees, eyes never straying from the slumbering form of Izuku Midoriya. His hatchling. A smile lingered on his lips, warmth blooming within him, even as questions and uncertainties circled like moths to a flame.
"Guess we'll have to work on your landings, kid." He mused quietly, the lightness of his tone belying the protective fierceness that quietly unfurled in his chest. "But don't worry, the old man's got a few tricks up his sleeve."
His gaze remained fixed on the boy who had unwittingly claimed a piece of his heart.
