    Wild shrieked, Twilight’s name slipping off his tongue over and over again, begging, pleading for Twilight to let go, to leave him alone. His breath was coming short, tears pricked in the corners of his eyes, and he couldn’t even bring his hands up to protect himself, or even meet Twilight’s malicious stare.

    An argument between Twilight and Wild takes a very violent turn.

    "You were panicking earlier Wild." Sky noted to keep a gentle, little smile on as he heartbrokenly wiped those falling tears from his brother's face. Still fear-stricken, he leaned to the touch, slow and careful he was, as though expecting Sky to change mannerisms, and anticipating to be hurt. Something in Sky shifted so, so woundly in him. "Let me check in with you now." He hummed, gently beckoning Wild's attention.

    With a small, barely coherent redirect of his attention, with foggy, tear-blurred eyes, Wild submitted brokenly.

    And when it finally settled within Sky, he nearly threw up then and there.

    Wild wasn't being cooperative out of his own will. He was frightened into in submission.

     

    OR

     

    Twilight fails to control his anger once more, taking it out on Wild yet again. This time, the others are done with justifying his behavior.

    "You, um…" Wild's expression twisted a little, Twilight suddenly remembered that he needed to fix his. "You don't look very… Y'know."

    The Rancher made a low noise of disdain. Today was long and strenuous enough- They had only just gotten past breakfast. Twilight doesn't need to deal with anymore of this, especially not with Wild of all people.

    "Yeah, rightchu are." Twilight snarled. "It don't take no genius to figure that out." Twilight tapped a finger to his head. Are you that stupid?

    The Champion withdrew briefly, a hurt expression flashing in place of a hopeful, curious one. The Rancher didn't think there was anything to be curious about him, not when that sort of wondering could kill.

    "Twilight, please." Wild shook his head, Twilight instead stared at his wisping hair rather than his face. "I can see that something's wrong-" Wild tugged at his sleeve insistently. It appeared that both The Rancher's tone and actions had completely flew past over his head.

    "Can't you- Fucking shove off!" Twilight seethed, teeth baring.

    “Hey, there you are,” Time’s voice sounds calmly from behind him. Wild doesn’t glance back to look at him nor move at all but as Time walks over to the spot next to him, he doesn’t protest the older hero’s presence and instead simply lets out a quiet breath, Time taking that as the permission it is to settle down next to him on the hill.

    Time gives him a moment more of silence, the two of them just spending time in the presence of nature, before he asks “Was it a memory?” Wild shakes his head ever so slightly, but luckily Time sees it and lets out a quiet hum of acknowledgment. “Do you want to talk about it?”
