Summary
Max has feelings for Safi - confusing, intense and distracting feelings that bring back memories she would rather bury. So when Safi dies, Max is forced to use her powers again to jump between timelines and figure out what happened, while battling her own growing crush on her best friend.
Safi had always liked Max - maybe more than she should like a best friend. So when Max starts acting strange and hiding secrets, Safi's instincts kick in, even if they are posessive and slightly toxic.

Basically the plot of DE but with some changes and the toxic yuri I wish they embraced more.
