He heard his General take a sharp breath and felt the rumble of words pouring through the comm, but he couldn’t hold onto them long enough to understand. That was okay. He’d protected his jetii, and he’d said what he needed to say. Obi-Wan would forgive him. When the cold closed in, Cody was smiling.
