Logan 142 has lost more than one man ever should. His dreams torture him, mocking him with memories of a love he can never reclaim, even with his unique ability to open a portal to any one of the other timelines. He's searched well over a hundred of them, as well as some other dimensions, in search of a version of his long departed husband, Max, who does not have a Logan for himself.
But can he really subject any version of Max to the monster he's become?
This is an expansion of Logan 142's story, which was established by the lovely the_greatest_escapist in her incredible works. Please read "The Logan 142 Incident," as well as her music inspired series of oneshots, "Lasers & Lyrics," for more about this handsome devil! I'd highly suggest doing so before reading this! (And read everything she's ever written while you're there, but that's just for funsies!)

Summary
Max and Logan 142, a mythical man whose powers include lasers that shoot from his fingertips and interdimensional portals, find themselves in a precarious situation: they are forced to hide in a crate together from the Duvosian soldiers looking for Max. Their attraction toward each other is undeniable, even as they contend with the silence they must maintain to make it out safely.
Two dudes, one box, and a thirst in desperate need of quenching.

Summary
Mostly Logan POV because I just plain like to write him. Chapters will be released as I write them.
After Max's failed attempt to save Sandrock from destruction by the Duvosian fleet, he decides he needs a new strategy if he's going to stop them. This time, he's going to help them. To do that, he's going to have to go back further in time, back to before it all fell apart. Of course, Max will do anything to ensure Sandrock's safety, but going back this far will mean Logan won't know who he is. Will Logan still fall in love with him, or will Max be left alone?
Max's plans will dramatically alter Logan's life. Logan might not even be the same person, too much has happened between then and now. Will he even like the person Logan is when he hasn't gone through any of the events that weigh on the Logan Max knows and loves?
Too many questions, no way to answer them except to try.

The funny thing about running from your past is that eventually, you run out of places to hide.
Owen came back to Sandrock a different man than the one who left: quieter, sadder, and better at mixing drinks than making deep connections. He wears his smile like armor and if anyone notices the shadows behind his eyes, they're kind enough to not mention it.
But Sandrock has a way of bringing things full circle. Old friends. New chances. A builder with sharp, amethyst eyes.
Love feels like a door Owen closed a long time ago. Maybe it's time someone rang the bell.
