The gesture itself was quite chaste, but its placement made Viktor wonder for the first time in his life what it would feel like to have the outline of someone else’s teeth carved into his neck.

Summary
His steps echo through the room, with only the feeble light from the hallway casting his shadow upon the dark stones. He can see, faintly, a silhouette through the bars facing him, though the man does not move. Amber eyes shine quietly, watching him with interest. Viktor feels a shiver down his spine, and yet, he keeps walking.
"Jayce Talis, I presume."
The man's face and figure finally come into view. Up close, his features are sharp, sculpted by a rough, half-maintained beard and messy hair. His expression is fixed in a hard glare that does not quite ring true. As though an intentional mask to separate him from the soft, slightly round-faced student Viktor remembers him looking like.
"You're… the Dean's assistant." His voice is low and rough from disuse.
Viktor would usually be offended by the words, but for this one instance, he lets it go. "You recognise me."
"How can I forget the pretty little thing who arrested me?"
Ah. He may have forgotten about that detail.

“You’re not gonna believe this,” Ekko says, slightly out of breath. “So I’m hustling Talis down at the forge, right? And I’m giving him the works.”
He ticks off ‘the works’ on his fingers as he elaborates, “I complimented his work, I name dropped Councilor Medarda, I went on and on about how much her investment really means to us, since you know their families are like this,” he crosses two fingers together tightly.
An effective visual, surely, had Viktor actually been looking.
“Then, I mentioned our project scaling up and he hooked it up for free.”
That, finally, gets Viktor’s full attention. He spins around on his stool, flipping his goggles onto his forehead. The heavy thud of Ekko’s haul is enough to imply just how big of a ‘hook up’ this was.
“What exactly did you say to him?”

“Viktor?”
His heart jumps. Silco’s voice is muffled, sleep-thick, but oh so achingly familiar. He had not realised until now just how much he missed it.
“You do realise it is 2 o’clock in the morning?”
He tries to speak but no words come out. The guilt, perhaps, has stolen them.
“Has something happened?”
“Papa,” he finally whispers. “Papa. Papa.” And then all of a sudden he is bawling his eyes out, horrible, heaving gasps and sobs torn from his throat, wracking his thin frame, and distantly he is embarrassed, but he cannot seem to make himself stop.
Worn down by the crushing weight of (not actually) unrequited love, workplace disputes, past trauma, and the existential dread that comes with being an overachiever in your twenties, Viktor finally breaks. Papa Silco comes to pick up the pieces.
Returning to his childhood home in Zaun for a long-overdue rest, Viktor must reckon with his past, his future, and the terrifying prospect of allowing himself to be loved and cared for.

The way he bears his weight down on Viktor pushes him even lower on the bottle – it's blocked from inching any further by the awkward angle of Viktor’s pelvis, but it's penetrated deep enough that the pressure is viscerally uncomfortable. By the time he pulls back Viktor’s a whimpering mess, already forgetting why he opened his mouth in the first place. He had… he had a point to make. About something. About… consent. Summary
Two years ago ex-Piltie and chembaron Jayce Talis killed Silco and assumed true control of the undercity after spending over a decade building his reputation and making a true name for himself. Getting exiled, thrown in prison and forced to survive in Zaun was the greatest thing that could have happened. He took Silco's shimmer production, his inner circle, and his adopted son- Viktor- as his prize for years of laying in wait.
Now, Finn seeks to repeat the past and strike Jayce down. He believes that he deserves all that Jayce has, including the beautiful and stoic Viktor who must endure as nothing more than a pet. Finn knows that Viktor would be much happier on the arm of a true Zaunite who could spoil and pamper him. Unfortunately for Finn, Jayce also inherited Silco's network of spies and informants. A trap is set in the form of a fake chembaron meeting, and Finn realizes the hunt is on too late.
TLDR: Jayce fucks Viktor in front of Finn to prove just how little a threat Finn actually is.
