Summary
An origin story of Ailsa Travers and Victor Rookwood, of a sort. At least mostly written from the perspective of Ailsa. How did Ailsa join the Ashwinders? How did the friendship between the two form? How did the Rookwood Senior meet his end, and Victor gain his role as the leader of the Rookwood gang? And the most important question of them all, why the top hat?
I´ve written Ailsa to be a sister of Aesop Sharp, as I had the thought, while writing "The Three Options of a Harlot" with Victor Rookwood and OFC . I just thought their first names, Ailsa and Aesop, sound like a pair of siblings, both have brown hair... And it´s not stated in the Harry Potter Wiki, whether Travers is Ailsa´s maiden name, or not, so...
The eventual smut will be about Ailsa and a male OC, not about Rookwood this time.
This story will have some links to my mentioned fic, but since I don´t plan to write this all the way to the Hogwarts Legacy timeline, you don´t need to worry about DR dying. -

Summary
So this is an AU of Victor Rookwood, and I guess an AU of my fic "The Three Options of a Harlot", with Victor Rookwood and my original character, Leyda Aldana. Instead of the 1890s timeline of the game Hogwarts Legacy, we go a hundred years ahead in time, to the 1990s. Meaning, the timeline for the Harry Potter books, and mainly the Second Wizarding War against Voldemort.
If you haven´t read Part 1, I suggest you go do that first. This will make much more sense that way.It´s 1994. Leyda Aldana is a young Hit Squad Witch. The Hit Squad is about to capture the dangerous werewolf, Fenrir Greyback, for the umphteenth time. Just for the Ministry to fuck up again, and let him go one way or another. This time Greyback is not on his usual rampage in some small wizarding hamlet, but about to attack muggles in Birmingham instead. Just for the laugh of it. Time for the witchling to show Greyback, why coming to terrorize her hometown is a grave mistake.
But wait. Where is the devilishly handsome dark wizard, with a top hat?

Summary
It´s been three years since Leyda Aldana left the village of Hogsmeade, it´s residents more hostile towards her than ever. She lives near Marunween in a forest cabin and runs a shop that sells and repairs magical artefacts. Her past still haunts her, and she yearns for an accelerating life of an Auror, but settles for less since things are somewhat falling to place.
Then Leyda interferes with the business of the Ashwinders, and ends up in a bloody sticky situation. Victor Rookwood, the leader of the Ashwinders, gives Leyda three options to settle the matter. Or actually just two, but the unruly witchling knows how to play, so it becomes three. And at least one of them, is bound to lead Leyda in the arms of the handsome criminal with a tall top hat.Basically: loads of banter and smut, with a bit of action and fluff.
Set to start around the same time as Hogwarts Legacy game begins, but main character is not the Player Character of the game.
