Souls are one of the most powerful forms of currency. Demons use them as a food source while Humans use theirs as a bargaining chip. Most Demons aren’t physically capable of taking human souls, so in order for them to feed, to truly feed, they need permission. This caused the creation of the soul deal where the Human gets something, anything in return for their soul.
Though people don’t realize that Demons have souls too. They aren’t the same as human souls but they have similar properties. Meaning a Demon can sell their souls to another. I’ve never heard of it actually happening as a Demon risks death as unlike humans they can’t survive without a soul.
Until in the dead of night a loud crack of magic surged through my tiny cottage. Alerting me to a situation in my kitchen. I found the tiles covered in thick layers of blood and white dust. Amongst the chaos was two skeletal Demons with one who was gravely injured. The other looks at me with fiery purple eyes.
Saving this Demon would change the very foundations of my life. As that single action tied me to them. All fourteen of them from every ring. Will more deals be made? Or will these Demons devour me whole?

To make it worse, A sudden snowstorm is coming. you couldn't stay in dark alleyways anymore due to violent people and monsters mostly creeping there, the streets were dangerous as well, it's too self explanatory.
Having no choice, you decided to break into abandoned houses- or you assume so. You've been doing this for months now, and it has been the worst thing to do ever, but surviving and safety comes first. The owners would kick you out every time, but atleast one day of sleeping comfortably was worth the trouble.
What happens when a human breaks inside an empty lodge, not knowing some skeletons are arriving home to rest their bones?

Magic wasn't a thing, goat monsters looked more like goats than humans, walking on all fours and eating whatever they wanted.
Spider Monsters weren't allowed to work in the food industry because of laws, Fire Monsters had to stay away from flammable objects.
Skeleton Monsters were extra fragile, they had to move with others just in case a bone got loose and fell out of place.
Magic wasn't a thing.

Now, as you deal with a rather colorful assortment of otherworldly skeletons continuously popping into your house, the outside world in which you interact finds itself bending and breaking in retaliation.
One thing's for certain: these guys shouldn't be here, and it's in your best interest to show them their way out.

The girlfriend is a good person and the hate and distrust is there for a reason, you're not a good person and you did some not so good things just to survive, and living in a house full of monsters who could tell when you're lying is not a recipe for trust.
