In the early hours of this morning, Cube is on a mission, a very festive mission. Having downloaded numerous Wikipedia articles about winter holidays, he is not Cube tonight. Tonight, he is Santa Claus, Father Christmas, St. Nicholas, Grandfather Frost, Sinterklaas, [SYSTEM DIALOGUE: list abbreviated for brevity]. In simpler terms, he is the mythological being thought to bring gifts to humans in the wee hours of December 25th.
The one who actually brought gifts was a mailman who did so under the belief that Kato ordered them, and paid for them with a credit card purchase authorized via two-factor authentication.

A rather jarring application of the ancient saying occurs on the rooftop of Cherryton Academy, between a young Bengal tiger and Dall sheep who once hated each other. What started as a picnic to celebrate nursing the chick back to health ended as a shared kiss between the two drunk animals.
Sure, the kiss was nice; Bill and Pina both liked it.
Unfortunately, night doesn't last forever, and the next morning, it's time to clean up this can of worms.

It’s his fault. All of this is his fault; he shouldn’t have put them in danger for his own escape plan, but he did, and now they’re gone.
He left his hacking tool on the floor, next to Lylla’s body, and as much as he doesn’t want to see her lifelessly staring into the sky, he does need that device to get out. Big, fat tears roll down his cheeks and onto the floor as he carefully walks back to where he dropped it, and when he passes Lylla, the crying starts back up in full. “I-I’m sorry, Lylla…” Seeing her stare up into the fluorescent sky like that is too painful, so he ever-so-gently runs his hand across her forehead, and nudges her eyelids shut for a less ‘dead’ look. “Sleep well, lady.”
However, as soon as Rocket’s hand meets Lylla’s eye, she blinks, and flinches away. “I-Is it safe now?”

Nobody at Cherryton knows the real reason why Bill Schroeder has a dorm to himself, private bathroom and all.
He supposedly earned it by having perfect grades for an entire school year, but that doesn't make sense - he's been in the penthouse of dorm rooms since day one at this school. The more plausible explanation is simple; those who aren't as gullible as the rest of the rumor mill assume he's not-so-secretly a rich boy whose parents are 'donating' to the administration.
In Bill's eyes, they can think whatever they want, but there's one white-wooled ram he's been seeing that needs to know the truth about him and his past before their budding relationship can go any further.

Summary

Pina's been living with Bill's family after escaping his father's iron fist, and they've taken him in as one of their own, no regard to species differences.
In between the pair dealing with school, an accordion-wielding butler, and more, Bill and Pina haven't really had a regular, lazy day in with the family. However, a nasty storm rolling in has the entire Schaeffer family hunkering down, and Pina's staying in with them, a sheep among the tigers.
Fluff with Bill and the family ensues, no drama this time around!

Summary
It's been ten years.
All of the physical and emotional scars of the war with the Illusory Dragons have long since faded, but they're nonetheless present.
A few years after the incidents within the Back Alley Market, San disappeared for South America, with nothing but a note left for Bill, Pina, and Hikaru. Of course, the trio followed, and Hikaru decided to stay with his alpaca.
And so, San and Hikaru started a new life for themselves, halfway across the world in a small village in Colombia. No Back Alley Market, no bloodbone, no gangs, and no violence; it's exactly what San and Hikaru both needed.
Of course, Spanish is a hell of a lot different than Japanese, so how exactly is Hikaru supposed to make dinner tonight?

Summary
Despite Bill’s greatest efforts, the worst has come to fruition -- he failed to protect Pina. His subsequent retribution against the drug dealers was brutally effective: two thirds of the Illusory Dragons are dead or injured, and only two of the undercover drug dealers remain in the school. However, the ramifications of what he did are starting to settle in, and the weight of the six lives he and San took is about to crush him where he stands.
With Pina’s pride and joy brutally severed from him, so begins his downward spiral, as he is forced to face the loss of the one truly good thing he had besides Bill: his beauty. Teetering between wanting to live and wanting to die, he settles for staying alive for his tiger. But, their relationship shall be put to a test unlike any other. If one thing is clear, both Bill and Pina are on a collision course with rock bottom.
Forced into a leadership position he wasn’t prepared for, Keiko has to pick up the pieces of his organization after Bill and San’s raid, and in doing so, finds secrets that his late boss took to the grave. There’s more to Tsuki Kagiena than what meets the eye, and it might’ve been better if those mysteries died with him...

Bill's need for meat and his devotion to be a good club leader are at constant odds to each other, to the point that the Bengal tiger can no longer function without feeling like the entire world is weighing down on his shoulders.
Two animals, intertwined by a single, seemingly inconsequential event with a baby chick that spirals into a descent into madness, driven by remnants of each other's pasts coming back to haunt them.
No one ever said that interspecies love was easy.
