Summary
Freya is trying to rebuild her life in Midgard after her separation from Odin. Regaining her freedom, she has resumed her studies and taken up the activities she enjoys, but life alone in Midgard is not always easy.
One evening, on her way back from university, snow causes train problems that prevent her from getting home. Fortunately, a stranger by the name of Kratos is ready to help her.
This leads to more than Freya could have imagined.

Atreus had set up a dating profile for his father on this app, surely this wouldn't be mad about it right? He needed to live a little okay, it had been 7 years since the death of his mother and his father had been single ever since. He deserved to be happy and if that meant him setting his father up for a blind date then so be it.
Freyr had done the same, albeit for his sister. She had gotten out of a highly abusive 20 year relationship, well it had ended 5 years ago and surely she did need to live a little according to Freyr. So he set up this blind date for her. She wouldn't murder him for this, right?
However due to a big threat in Freya's life she has to seek safety, luckily Kratos is willing to take her in. Atreus is happy to have another person at home, not realising in how much danger Freya is.

Summary
My first fanfic dedicated to the story of Faye, following her from ~19-45. "He" will show up eventually. The beginning of this fic is a sort of action adventure. If violence, gore, isolation, and sex aren't your thing this may not be the fic for you. Towards the end this turns into a slow burn romance, eventually ending up on the struggles of motherhood and sacrifice. All leading up the events to God of War 4.

If you are starting off, hello! This was a small (not) writing exercise I wanted to give myself in order to get into writing fan fiction. 30 days, 30 chapters, and I did it! So pardon the slightly stagnant beginning as I dipped my toes into the water as a new author. (The ball gets rolling ~day10) I wanted to focus strictly on telling Faye's story up to the beginning of God of War 4.
This is a pre-canon fic but I did my best to stay as close to canon from this game, as well as previous God of War games as possible. So spoilers ahead! Thank you so much for any and all feedback!
