Summary
During the summer vacation prior to her second year at Luna Nova, Lotte must partake Trial of Keiran the Warrior, a sacred test of mind which will determine her worth as the heir of great power passed down through generations of her family since the days of Tuatha Dé Danann. The test itself is straightforward; she must defeat the echo of her ancestor's greatest adversary — a Fomorian warrior — in another plane of existence accessible through ingesting a special concoction for such occasion. Summary
A common link had already been established between the relative positions of the Earth and the Moon to the activities of the Shadows and other various phenomena within the Dark Hour. While still poorly understood by the Kirijo Group scientists, the reality of a link was undeniable.
It's just that... nobody had ever stopped to think on the possible consequences of a night where the moon was just in the right position, where the shadow of the Earth itself would be cast over it. A lunar eclipse, to be exact.
Makoto would learn the hard way, and his friends would also learn the same lesson.
