Summary
In one world, Taylor Hebert would gain her powers in a locker, become a villain and warlord, then a superhero, then finally a feared quasi-deity. She helped spark the end of the world, and saved humanity across the multiverse. She was Skitter; Weaver; Khepri; Queen of the Swarm.
That world will not come to pass.
In this world, Taylor is a doctor, helping others to live their lives without fear, wether it comes in the form of medicine and healing or the violence of swords and spears. Forces move in the dark, all vying for their goals: some for power, others out of fear, and still others fight for peace.

Wisdom Cubes. The ultimate energy source, and the catalyst for the creation of the Kansen; ships given human form. They were the light, the defenders of peace and Azur Lane.
But they were not the first.
From the skies over the Middle-East, Asia, and the hills of Europe to the cities of North and South America, they were there, keeping to the shadows, always watching, always protecting. Fighting the enemies of humanity since the end of World War Two, they help ensure that no matter what, humanity is safe from threats both within and without. Assassination, blackmail, murder, espionage; no deed is too immoral, no act too evil if it meant keeping humanity safe, all to defend the light from the darkness. They are called by many names around the world, in rumours and legends: the Ghosts of Razgriz, the Demons of the Sky, and many other names besides. But to those few who know of them, there is only one name they go by:

More than a century has passed since humanity’s burgeoning population ventured into space.

Quess Paraya, still haunted by her past actions, takes up her late father’s position as the Vice-Foreign Minister of the Federation to rectify the damage she has caused as a brainwashed child soldier of Char’s Neo Zeon, fighting for a better tomorrow for those still affected by the events of the old wars, her life would unexpectedly cross with Hathaway Noa who changed for the worse since then and fights a terrorist campaign against the Earth Federation under the alias of Mafty Navue Erin. Horrified by what has become of her friend, Quess chases after Hathaway to stop him from falling deeper into the many circles of Hell in an attempt to save his soul and to atone for her sins.Thanks to Zee and the Beltorchika discord server for the encouragement <3

Jason shakes his head. “No, no, no. That’s my job.”Luckily, the stubborn kid accepts that. He wanders to the living room, dropping his backpack on the couch and pulling out a science workbook. Within seconds he’s absorbed again, pencil tapping lightly as he scribbles something far beyond his grade level.
Jason watches him, standing there, leaning in the hallway, breathing through the throb of adrenaline still grinding in his veins.He doesn’t know who touched the doorknob.
