Summary
When the news comes to the Stepstones war camp, every soldier brought there by the Rogue Prince silently rejoices, for they know what this means; the end of nearly five years of war, of conquest, and then of the boredom that comes after conquest. Two years of fighting for these barren rocks followed by three years spent defending them, fighting off the now-routine insurgency attempts from the Triarchy and from Dorne, now surely come to an end.
Rhaenyra Targaryen is an omega, and so there is nothing that could keep Daemon from her side for any longer.
