Summary
Tied to a goal post at twelve years old, Spencer Reid wishes, wishes he was able to fly away from all his troubles. A few days later he wakes up with wings.
Years after, a case goes horribly wrong, and his secret is revealed to the team. Reid is suddenly faced with a choice: stay with his family, or run.
(AKA: the Reid-has-wings story that contains practically no magic, a bit of angst, and lots of Morgan and Reid friendship)

Summary
A notorious serial killer, held in a prison in New Mexico, has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. After Hotch and Rossi interview him and determine that there may be more victims of his making out there, the team must figure out a way to discover where the missing victims are — if there are any at all — before the man passes away.
Despite plenty of protests from certain members, Spencer is elected to go undercover as a prisoner and retrieve as much information as he can on the whereabouts of the girls.
They wouldn’t send him in completely unguarded, of course. No, Derek will be right in there with him, sharing his cell and ready to stake his claim if any of the other inmates get any funny ideas.
That’s the plan, anyway.

Summary
He should have known that trying to retest for his firearms qualification so soon after failing the last time was a bad idea. He can still hear Morgan’s voice in his head, though, derisive— “We’re all here for you, kid”— and even though he knows it was meant as a joke, he feels his face burn with latent embarrassment at the memory of the whistle around his neck.
__Set in early s1. Reid’s attempt to pass his firearms certification with a hostile instructor goes sideways, and he’s not sure who to turn to in the aftermath.
