Summary
The Montreal Metros didn't take the news of Shane's and Ilya's relationship well.
Shane would've never thought that their hatred could run this deep, until he finds himself lying half-conscious on the floor, with blood coating his lips and face.
In the aftermath, Shane tries to protect Ilya as much as he can, not wanting to bother him with his fears.
For Ilya it feels like Shane doesn't want him anymore, which causes him to spiral.
orAU fic set after Shane and Ilya's involuntary outing. A few teammates attack Shane. Ilya freaks out. Shane shuts everyone out. The following weeks are hell. Shane has to learn to overcome his fears.
Edit: This fic is complete but is currently edited (fixing grammar and spelling mistakes), and will be reuploaded chapter by chapter (so don't mind the "completed" date). Chapter 1-6 have now been edited.

Summary
So that’s how Hayden found himself in Shane’s hospital room with Rozanov, JJ, and Shane’s parents, Yuna and David. Shane seemed to have managed to fall asleep despite all of the commotion, his eyes shut like he hadn’t a care in the world, like he didn’t have a concussion and broken collarbone and his archrival wasn’t currently in the room with him. Hayden was thankful for whatever painkillers they had him on to allow him to sleep so soundly.
Rozanov was glancing between the four of them, the doorway, and the single window in the room, his body language guarded. Maybe he was trying to figure out if he could jump out the window and survive a fall from the fourth floor, since they were actively blocking his only other exit out of the room.
“So, you are going to tell us, yes?” JJ said through gritted teeth. “What you were doing with Hollander.”

Yet another fic where Shane high on painkillers terrorizes his loved ones, especially Ilya Rozanov. But even while high, he does pose an important question: is there any reason to hate Ilya, the person, as opposed to Rozanov, the hockey player? Does anyone other than him even know Ilya well enough to really hate him?

Summary
David Hollander carefully re-arranged his index cards. He was shocked when Shane asked him to speak at their rehearsal dinner. Shocked that he was the choice over any number of boisterous hockey players that would gladly volunteer to get a chance to chirp at Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov's love story. But maybe that was why he was picked, maybe that was why Ilya had insisted. They wanted something that spoke to who they really were- who he and Yuna had gotten to see more and more over of the last four years.
