Summary
Saint-14 was lost in the depths of the Vex network. Now he is not.
He's here instead— a world called Earth Gimel, home to the City. A broken world still smoking from its own Collapse, full of exhausted people struggling to recover. He doesn't know how long he'll be here. He doesn't know if he can get home. What he knows is that there are people sleeping in tent cities, children going hungry, warlords raising banners out in the wilds.
He knows how to fix that. He's been fixing it his whole life.
The Vex are coming. They've found something in this world worth consuming and they will not stop until it is reduced to metal and radiolaria. Saint-14 has stopped them before. With help, he'll stop them again.

Summary
Waking up 5 years in the past was not something Rain asked for, but if he could save his friends from years of pain by being there sooner he was willing to make it work. It's not like the apocalypse had even been that bad the first time, right?
