Summary

Summary
Moving from the big city, away from all the noises, into remote Romania with your parents should have been a new beginning, but when a hunting accident takes them away you are left to fend for yourself. It is not easy being different when the people around you don't understand. Your sensory overloads and losses are something which you have grown to accept by now, but to religious simple villagers your peculiarities seem unholy. When a traumatic incident happens after a regular work day you flee into the woods thinking your end is near. Instead you are saved by an "angel", someone who leads you into her Castle where things are not always what they seem, or as they are told in rumors. Somehow, you find a safe haven in the sinister and misfitting family.

You weren't a person who believed in rumors. Which is why when you learned that Lady Beneviento might be killing anyone unlucky enough to get close to her estate, you didn't care. After leaving the bakery in the village with a batch of cookies, you decided today would be the day that you would politely go to Lady Beneviento's house. People may have called you brave or an utter fool, but you blocked out their gasps and comments as you made your way through the forest leading to the waterfall next to her house.

Had Caitlyn told Mel that no one had struck her fancy lately? That was now an outright lie. Because, of course, “Vi Wick, here with The Last Drop Plumbing and Repair?” was a stunningly beautiful, incredibly muscular woman, and not the typical middle aged “repair guy” in dirty coveralls who scratched his ass while he poked around under the sink and muttered about washers and lug nuts.
Realizing abruptly that said plumber was now looking up at her expectantly, Caitlyn stutters into motion, stepping back and swinging open the door to her apartment fully while sweeping an arm out in the universal gesture for “come in.”
“Right! Yes, sorry, Ms. Wick. I, uhm. I appreciate you coming out on a weekend, I know you must be very busy.”
Caitlyn watches as the plumber, Vi, leans down to stretch blue cloth booties over her boots before stepping over the threshold and into her apartment, “No problem! The morning’s only been a little crazy, and shower troubles are never fun. And, please. It’s Vi.”
OR
Caitlyn's shower breaks, and Vi's the sexy plumber who comes out to fix the problem.
