Sometimes, things happen for a reason. If you ask Roadhog, everything comes back around one way or another. But when they kill a child and he comes back more like one of them than before, the defacto Leader of Overwatch has to mend some wounds to make sure no one gets hurt in the long run.

What happens in here? Awkward Garrett Hawke is a barista with a crush on the guy with white ink tattoos who comes in to Bianca's Coffee every morning. His friends Isabela, Merrill and Andy take it upon themselves to help him, in the capacity of Wingmen, to not totally blow it with him.
It's an uphill battle every step of the way.

Summary
Garrett Hawke is a simple guy. He likes simple things. Things like playing MMORPGs with his friends. Their guild, Wicked Grace, has been pretty exclusive for a while. But, when the guild becomes interested in recruiting a new member - an elven warrior named Fenris - what used to be a "fun way of passing time" becomes "Operation: Hard in Hightown" (or, as Isabela calls it, "Operation: Get Hawke Laid"). Needless to say, this operation is anything but simple.

Duty calls, and Dorian must answer: when a letter arrives from an old acquaintance asking for Dorian’s aid in securing crucial alliances within the Magisterium, Dorian’s hopes for what Tevinter might yet become outweigh any trepidation about leaving the Inquisition – and the Inquisitor – for the time it would take to remedy Tevinter’s most obvious ills. Still, Inquisitor Lavellan will not be turned aside. Despite the mage’s protests, he insists on accompanying Dorian, although it will be as his companion, not as the Inquisitor.
But the powers at play in the Imperium are greater and more convoluted than Dorian had anticipated: while he navigates secret alliances, unknown motives, and the effects of a series of brutal assassinations, Lavellan discovers that someone has been promising escaped slaves freedom… only to slaughter them for sinister purposes. Trying to uncover the truth of who is making a wild grab for power, and who is putting both Dorian and Lavellan in grave danger, is made harder as they struggle with how to be together in a world so bent on tearing them apart.
NOTE: The final act is comprised of author’s notes/outline only — but the arc of the story is complete.

Last I heard she was living in Kirkwall. A very dangerous woman - possibly insane, actually - but I met her once at Arlathven, and if anyone could help you -”
“Merrill?”
_Hawke was left in the Fade. Fenris goes looking for him. He doesn't go alone.
