Tim had given up trying to lie to himself about how he felt about Jason, hating himself for his childhood hero-worship/crush on the second Robin for coming back. He knew the whole thing was pointless – Jason barely tolerated him, he knew that – so it was better to just acknowledge the feelings, process them, and get rid of them. The last time he’d had feelings for Jason, suppressing them hadn’t worked despite years of trying.
So here he was, asking Jason about what consoles he had because unfortunately this was as close as Jason was going to come to asking him on a date (oh my god, a Bat Kids hangout was the closest he was getting to a date – Damian was right, Tim was pathetic), and there was no way in hell Tim was going to say no, even if he hadn’t slept in over 24 hours. Besides, he knew he could easily make it to 48 if he had coffee.Series

Timothy glanced at the rolling fields of Asphodel and the gray spirits wandering the hills. His chest twinged in sympathy, wishing there was something he could do for them. He buried the thought, reminding himself that empathy was a luxury of mortals. He could not afford to waste time and energy on something so pointless now.
He started to look back towards his destination after the wraith passed, but something caught his eye. There, sitting underneath a dead willow tree, was a gray spirit reading a book.
