When she came to U.A. High, Kyouka Jirou wasn’t sure that this was where she should be. But the more time she spent with Kaminari, this endearingly stupid ball of energy, this irreplaceably annoying ray of sunshine, this oasis of a living contradiction in a world where nothing making sense to her is the norm, the more things started to fall into place, piece by piece, stupid joke by stupid joke.
Being the center of attention was something that Denki Kaminari enjoyed, and kicking ass and taking names seemed like a hell of a career choice. But it was also a lot to live up to. Every strum of Jirou’s guitar, every whip of her jacks, every laugh at one of his stupid jokes shook him to his noisy core, sifting through the static to reach a more still mind than he’s ever had.

Denki Kaminari and Kyouka Jirou both knew that the saying “opposites attract” wasn’t anywhere close to the truth, at least when it came to anything other than magnets. But maybe, just maybe, thunder and lightning, light and sound, purple and yellow could fit together. Besides, it's what they share that matters to them, more than anything else in the world.

“What are you talking about?” Denki quickly interjects. “I’m just… taking it slow, y’know? That’s what Recovery Girl said I should do.”
That’s not the only thing she told him, but Denki has tried to bury her words under a pile of procrastination. Although it works, they still form ripples inside his head. Some days they’re small and barely noticeable. Other days, they’re big enough to form waves that are close to drowning out his will to become a hero.

If you asked anyone in class 1-A what they thought of Denki Kaminari, it would most likely be around the same answers: very flirty and outgoing, not being afraid to show his excitement for something. Maybe he's not the brightest bulb in the box and has a bit of a mischevious side to him, but he's still able to make everyone laugh when he shows his brainless side after going over his wattage limit. No matter what, he's one of the closest members of class 1-A.
No one would have guessed that it was all a lie.
No one would have thought that it was all a con, a front to lower everyone's expectations so that he could carry out what he needed to do.No one would have thought that Denki Kaminari, the loveable idiot from class 1-A, had been working to betray them all.
AU where Kaminari is the U.A. traitor as well as a psychopath.
