“You have fancy friends, huh Dami? How do you know Mr Wayne?” She asks.
The little boy stops his scowling over at the older man, turning to her, he huffs. “He’s my father.”
He scuffs his little shoe on the floor unhappily, clearly displeased with having just been scolded. Etta has to bite her tongue to keep from squealing at how adorable a sight an unhappy Dami makes. That little pout- oh he’s just too cute.But then it clicks what Dami’s just said. His father. Bruce Wayne is his father? Well huh. That’s… something. She’d assumed Batman was his father. The costumed man hadn’t said much, but she got those vibes from the pair of them.
But maybe she was wrong. If Dami says Bruce Wayne is his dad, she’ll have to believe him. She hadn’t heard of Bruce Wayne having a child though. She wonders if the mother’s in the picture.
Or- gasp Bruce Wayne and Batman are together and parent Dami as a team.
She presses her fingers to her lips to suppress a giggle at the thought. Has she just uncovered Bruce Wayne’s secret?
Etta meets Batman under unexpected circumstances, and things just get more surprising from there. But, Etta’s good at rolling with the punches.
