Everyone else called her Nettles, and said she was the daughter of a whore.
Ever since she was born, Nettles struggled to know who she was. Every night she had dreams of another world, a better one than the one she lived in. One filled with fantastical creations, with warmth and food aplenty... yet every morning, she woke to try and scrape together another day of survival on Driftmark. With each year that passed, she remembered more, until one day it all came crashing down upon her.
The Dance of the Dragons approached, and she refused to die alone in some forsaken mountain in the Vale. It was a fine vow for a girl to make, the trouble was she had no idea how to change her fate... and she would soon learn some things are better left in destiny's hands.

Little is known about Viserra Targaryen. She was the most beautiful of Queen Alysanne Targaryen's daughters, a vain, wild, and ambitious girl. When she was fifteen, her mother betrothed her to Lord Manderly, a man old enough to be her grandfather. No one was willing to speak against the match, so she tried to seduce her widowed brother, Baelon and gain her freedom. Unsuccessful and resigned to her fate, Viserra snuck out with her friends for one last night of laughter. On their way back, there was an accident, and the Princess fell from her horse and died.
Or: Viserra did not die that night, and instead, the Fourteen Flames showed her the horrors of the future. Forewarned, she will stop at nothing to protect those she loves.

Prince Aerion Targaryen once drank a cup of wildfire, convinced it would make him a dragon. It made him a corpse instead—briefly. Fate (or the gods, or some bored Valyrian demon with a taste for jokes) spits him back into the world generations earlier, reborn as the twin brother of Prince Jacerys Velaryon, son of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen.
He isn’t a dragon. Tragic.
