tears stream down, and he collapses to his knees, sobbing into his hands again, he’s lost track of how many times he’s cried these past few days as he looks around the living room.
and then suddenly, there’s a wave of anger, why did this have to happen to them? he stands up shakily, stares at the living room full of memories around him, and the anger keeps boiling and boiling before finally he grabs the bookshelf holding science competition awards and ice skating awards and wooden picture frames, bringing it all tumbling down. he watches with sick satisfaction as glass breaks and wood shatters.
he suddenly can’t stop.
by the time he comes to, he’s sitting on the couch with bleeding knuckles, everything in disarray around him.

he needs to get out of here.

Summary
Yugo already didn’t like when people were talking about his hat, even less when they tried to touch it. His dad was mostly able to smooth things over and soothe him by saying that they didn’t mean to make him upset. When people would do that, it was mainly only the adults that his dad had specified were his friends.
He didn’t know why it made him so angry, it just did. Yugo would growl and hit and cry when anyone other than his dad tried to touch it. This was the usual reaction to people that he semi-liked. He had never thought about what he would do to someone he didn’t like at all.

Summary
Entering the private jet, I bit down any anxiety bubbling up in me. Harley Keener is not scared of a stupid ol’ plane, who do you think I am? Just because I’ve never been in a plane before, well I’ve never even been outside of Tennessee before, and now suddenly Tony Stark is flying me out to New York with no explanation after not seeing him in years doesn’t mean I should be nervous, like c’mon obviously I’m not nervous. Even I’m not that pathetic, clearly.
With every minute that passed in the plane ride, my regret for my choice of attire only grew. Like honesty, what kind of loser wears a leather jacket with far too many pins, worn to death jeans, and neon green crocs? Me. The answer is me. I’m that loser. I can’t even reason with myself that it’s just me not hiding my true stupid self from Tony Stark, because I am hiding. I’m hiding such a huge part of me because… because, I just need to. I guess.
