    Apartment 402 started with exactly four unspoken rules to keep the peace.

    But that was before Shoto’s father decided to make his existence everyone's problem.
    Before Izuku took a teaching gig for the money and accidentally walked straight into a psychological trap set by his unhinged ex-boyfriend.
    And definitely before Eijirou and Katsuki... well, they'll cross that chaotic bridge when they get to it.

    In retrospect, four rules may have been a wildly optimistic underestimation. They really should have drafted a full survival guide from the beginning.

     

    A story about accidentally building a polycule, weaponized competence, and realizing that confusion is, in fact, a basic art form.

    Katsuki Bakugou was 7 when he learned that not all men are created equal.
    Momo Yaoyorozu was 8 when she learned that not all men are created equal.
    All children learn it at one point or another, but the Midoriya children are different. This fact of life hit them harder than most, but do you know what sets them apart?
    They did something about it.

    Alternatively: The story of how Inko Midoriya ends up with 15 vigilante children, 3 young kids, 3 older kids, 2 hero kid-in-laws, a husband that lights things on fire when he sneezes, and a partridge in a pear tree.

    As much as Nedzu wanted to simply mourn the death of his good friend, he couldn’t help the fact that his mind would not stop working, so he might as well plan his son’s educational future. Izuku was already quite advanced for his age, thanks in part to how often Nedzu had watched over him and applied various teaching techniques, so if he keeps up this style of learning…

    Nedzu was no longer Izuku’s godfather. Now he was his father. Midoriya Izuku would always be Inko’s son, but now, he was also Nedzu’s son. His legacy.

    Nedzu let a grin spread on his face. “Don’t worry, Inko,” he whispered quietly. “I’ll take good care of Izuku.”
