Summary
Camilo stood from the bed and with a flourish of his ruana, always the most theatrical boy, he grew in size. His yellow ruana faded to muted green, long and frayed, decorated with hourglasses. His hair grew longer and darker. Loose curls fell over his now scruffy face. Long arms with thin spidery fingers emerged from behind the dirty ruana. He lowered from his towering stance to hunch over in front of her. His skin was nearing a sickly gray. The curls curtaining his face moved back to reveal a grotesque visage. He presented a wide smile, lips curled upward in a malicious grin. And as he opened his eyes Mirabel had to muffle a yelp of terror. His brows were pulled down and green light flooded the room. Shocking bright green irises stared back at her and she pulled herself backwards.
When Mirabel uncovers the jade shards in the sand, she realizes there's only one person that can help her. But her memories of him are few and far between. To understand the vision and save the miracle she needs the Seer himself.
She pleads with the candle for help. The candle provides.

Rocky. I can’t put this all on the guy right now. He should be happy. We are going to Erid. We are going to save his planet.
“CBC. A complete blood count.” I answer, hoping he doesn’t ask me why.
“Purpose, question?”
Rocky, please. I’m trying to spare you right now.
Basically, Grace gets exposed to a dangerous amount of radiation during an EVA and doesn't want to tell Rocky bc of what happened to Rocky's crew <3
THIS IS A REWORKED VERSION OF "TEMPEST" - after some comments, I wanted to keep the soul of the story, but make it more scientifically plausible. While there are still probably some inaccuracies, I still hope this isn't as messy as before.

On the evening of April 20th in 1933, policemen uncovered the body of Alastor Bourdeaux in a bayou just outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. The man was a renowned radio host in the city. The search for his body after a hunter reported having shot a human figure deep into the bayou was headed by Lieutenant Park.
