She doesn’t imagine Camilla was ever free with her affections, even before tragedy hardened her. She lifts the bottle to her lips again. “That’s why it surprises me how much I want you to touch me.”
    Pyrrha chokes on the swig of liquor halfway down her throat. As she’s coughing to clear her airway she wonders if this is the single most undignified response she’s ever had to an implicit proposition.
