Six thousand years of restraint unravelled by a car stereo!

Thing was, Crowley's self control was great, it really was. Phenomenal, even.

He'd refrained from kicking Gabriel (so far). He'd cut back on his sarcasm (the last thirty minutes—mostly because he'd been busy panicking internally, but still). He'd even survived Rome, where Aziraphale suggested they have oysters at Petronius' (yes, that Petronius!) new restaurant.

There was no good reason Armageddon't was messing with it.

    - or -

After the Apocalypse that wasn't, Crowley's life is great. Until it isn't. There seems to be a conspiracy going on - and it's personal. All of a sudden, love songs start playing wherever he walks. And, somehow, the lyrics always seem to fit.

Join the ride where we watch him lose all composure - and be endearingly oblivious!

Unfortunately Aziraphale has fallen in love with a demon, and as we all know, demons can't love.

    Summary

Crowley waved his hand. “I’m not talking about something ordinary, like a miracle or a temptation.” He said. “I need you to be certain about this Angel, before I–” Crowley cut himself off. There was no need to get into specifics now. “Just…humor me. You want this? You really want me to show you this?”

“Yes.” Aziraphale said. He had a stubborn set to his jaw that Crowley had come to intimately recognize. “Yes, I think…Yes.”

Crowley experienced an odd sensation, like the planet was momentarily tilting sideways while he remained stationary. Or maybe he was the one tilting? It reminded him briefly of the feeling of watching a galaxy being born.

Crowley gives Aziraphale an important lesson on what it means to be human.

    Summary

The memory isn't hazy in Aziraphale's mind; he still sees Crowley, all long lines and unguarded eyes, talking about hills in Italy covered by vines, six courses with six paired wines — a place Aziraphale would like since he was such a snob. Aziraphale had protested, of course, but the ghost of a smile lingered on his cheeks nonetheless.

He knew he'd accept. He said yes in his head the moment Crowley mentioned the wine parings (or, if he's honest with himself, the moment Crowley sat down on the settee. He'd never say anything but yes.)
