   Kaveh leans closer to the mirror, studying his own reflection as if he wants to see his imperfections. But he doesn’t need to. He knows he looks good. Hell, a few days ago Alhaitham looked at him like he was the most beautiful specimen on the planet.

   But tonight Alhaitham was going to look at Tighnari. The thought sours in his chest. Tighnari isn’t even Alhaitham’s type, and Kaveh knows this because he is Alhaitham’s type.

   They had never called it anything. Not exclusive, not dating. Just late nights in the kitchen and conserving body warmth when the heater breaks and Alhaitham’s lips on Kaveh’s neck, traveling down, down, down…
