Yes, nitroglycerin for sweat is fucking cool. Yes, blowing things up is way better than Deku's stupid punches or Candy Cane's cliché fire and ice thing. But it also—it also comes with downsides that Katsuki is going to take to his fucking grave, and they're currently being really, really fucking annoying.
Because when you mix glycerol, nitric, and sulfuric acid, you make something really, really cool, but you also make something really, really hot.
When Bakugou gets hit by Trigger during their work-study with Endeavor, everyone thinks he's going to destroy half the city. Shouto is the only one that knows that what's about to happen isn't nearly as bad for everyone else, but that it’s going to be much worse for Bakugou.

Summary
It starts when Izuku is young and impressionable and left witnessing the carnage of the world around him. He spent so much of his childhood being told he is useless, a waste of space for not having a quirk, yet here in this mess of a world he finds he can make a difference. It doesn’t start out large or fancy. A boy handing out band aids and water, simple things but important things nonetheless. Someone seeing the pain of the world and wanting to make it better.
He doesn’t set out for it to mean anything, or for it to be his life’s path; yet that is the end result anyways. Actions have meaning, and these ones mean everything to those he helps.

Summary
Izuku has always loved the beach. Which is why when he’d stumbled upon the absolute wreck of a beach that was Dagobah it was a sight he simply couldn’t ignore.
The trash heaped everywhere, slowly eroding away into the ocean. There isn’t anything for a beachgoer to enjoy, and the trash has to be damaging the local fish population.
It is likely why the local mermaid population has been so nonexistent as well, the pollution has to seem obscene to them.
Izuku will change that. Even if it is only him, and it takes half his life or more, he will make it better for everyone.
It is what heroes do after all.
