Because the ghost was now treating Vlad as his personal fixer-upper for Bad Ending Timelines. And if Vlad had to punch himself in the face one more time for bad relationship decisions, bad obsessions, or just overall bad life choices, he was going to start making some questionable life decisions of his own…

Vlad Masters never anticipated winning Daniel's favor would be so easy.
Sure, he saved the little brat's life, but he'd put the boy in danger more times than he'd saved him. True, Vlad had also agreed to a truce and stopped threatening to kill Daniel's father and harass his mother, but really, even Vlad knew these were pretty baseline requests. But somehow, it seemed that was all the younger halfa needed to forgive Vlad. To maybe (possibly) even...like Vlad?
