Some nights when they shared the bed, Eoin placed his hand over Paddy’s sleeping form, over his belly and brushed his thumb over the soft skin of it.
There could be no denying it. This wasn’t a bug, or the food, or any other excuse Paddy had come up with. There was a life inside of Paddy, growing in him.
He’d done this for Eoin. He’d put himself through this for Eoin.
Paddy makes a deal with a goddess without caring about what she wants in return, just as long as he can get Eoin back. This may have been a miscalculated decision.

There was a slight slur in the man’s words, most definitely drunken. Eoin didn't think his night could get much worse now, he had been banished from the only inn for miles and now he'd trampled one of the poor villagers with his horse. His night would end with either lashes or a pillory if he wasn't careful next, not that many people needed reason to tie a witcher to a post and shame them.

It took months before yennefer realised what she was doing wrong, looking in the entirely wrong place. She shouldn’t be looking to regrow her womb, instead she needed to look for a spell for Jaskier, something that was so strong it overpowered her own problems.
The bard was entirely on board, “I’m always open to new experiences,” he had said. Yennefer had rolled her eyes but was unbelievably thankful in the inside, she didn’t think she could love him any more than at that point in her life.
She was wrong.

He deserved it after all – and of course when the beer comes into play, copious amounts of beer, and the sitting around doing nothing all day, his toned figure wasn’t quite as admirable as it used to be.
