Summary
Jackie had always been a naturally thin girl, her curved bones were visible, and even with her skeletal figure, she carried her own scars and venom. Growing up in a prestigious and well-cared-for family, Jackie's appearance could deceive anyone. Her thin wrists and exposed ribs could easily make someone think she was constantly hungry, or worse, trapped in an obsessive diet imposed by her mother.
Everyone believed it was just an attempt to keep Jackie in "good shape," but no one knew the real reason behind the excessive control. What no one realized was that, over time, Jackie was slowly becoming hungry. And this was not just the effect of excessive control over her diet.

There was a feeling of ice running down her spine, and she ran further, panting and desperate through the forest, feeling hunted by something, and there was still the heavy smell in the air, making her run even faster along the already lost trail, obviously she didn't she was the best runner there, because when she tried to stop behind a log to get some air, the one who was hunting her before quickly jumped, and all she felt was a body hitting her side, causing her to fall and roll for a few meters until they both stop.
She pushed her hair out of her face, panting and almost terrified of what she would see.

Nat spent a good part of her life living with violent people, violence was part of her blood, especially with alphas, everything she least expected was softness and kindness. So she always believed that she would never be stable with anyone, be it beta, omega or alpha, because even kindness had a price, and she couldn't easily pay it without bleeding in the end.

There was a much bigger problem than all the shadow that seemed to follow them through the forest, perhaps more terrifying for their group, especially when some of the girls begin to behave more abnormally after a few days of being lost. 'Rapax' as this strange disease arose amid torture in the Medieval Era, and now it has finally caught up with their group.
The Rapax was a disease known to a prisoner in Spain to have suffered for weeks under torture and with strong alpha pheromones, until this finally ended up slowly transforming him into an omega.
And this is about to happen in the darkness that surrounds the cabin, but if there are only omegas and betas there, what could really be happening to the girls? Perhaps the answer actually lies in the darkness that is slowly swallowing your bodies and minds, preparing to transform, not into butterflies, but into moths.
