Tommy squeezes his eyes shut tight, a pressure building in his chest. He wants to cry. He wants to go home. This was a mistake.
His communicator buzzes.
Dream: you've got sap on your left on his own and Ponk + Sam on your right. Sap isn't looking, too busy building. Sam and ponk are also easy – they're not armed.
or, since Tommy's family can't be in this MCC, his team is a little lack-luster in terms of communication and general caring about Tommy's well-being. Thank God he's got Dream's help to get him through.

Summary
The room was down with obscurity as well, and as her eyes adjusted the darkness, the panic feeling disappeared from her chest. As she could tell by the lack of lighting, a figure was laying down in the bed, she couldn't see his eyes. She wondered if he still woke up even with her non-existent sounds.
“Annabeth?” Percy asked, confirming her thoughts , his voice was deep and sleepy.
Then he straightened up in bed immediately. “What is it? Are we under attack? Are you okay? Did something happened to you —”
“Nothing happened, Percy.” she reassured her boyfriend, even though her weary and quiet tone said otherwise. “The ship is safe. I just wanted —” Annabeth took a deep breath. “ I just wanted to see if you are… safe too.” she trailed off, looking to the floor, giving her left foot all of her weight.
“Oh,” There was a moment of silence, and after one, two, three seconds, “Come here, Annabeth.” his voice was so pleading, as if he wouldn't survive if she didn't.
