From the first time they met, the prince has had a strange obsession with him, turning up to the library to just stare at him with intense red eyes as he works. If it wasn't for his position as Dan Heng’s prince he would’ve kicked the man out of the library a long time ago.
Crossing his arms, Dan Heng stares up at the prince defiantly, hoping that the man will get the message and leave him alone.
To his dismay, Ren just chuckles quietly, a hand coming up to caress his jaw. Dan Heng flinches at the touch, his wayward heart racing at the intensity of Ren’s gaze.

He does look a little more lucid, Dan Heng thinks, blushing furiously as he watches Ren wipe his mouth off with his free hand then lick the mess off of his fingers. Seems like this really does work to calm him down…
