Summary
Izuku did his best not to think about when he was young. It was best not to dwell. He barely remembered his mother or his childhood friend, anyway. Instead, he kept his thoughts on the present. He worked diligently, avoided punishment, and didn't stray out of line. He may have a reprieve with UA, but he was ready to do what the HPSC wanted afterward.

Summary
Izuku remembered arms reaching out for him, trying to get him back. He remembered crying, lots of it. He remembered strong hands pulling him away from his home, from his mother. He didn’t like thinking about then.
Midoriya is taken in by the HPSC and is now being trained to become one of the upcoming top ten heroes. Having seen how hero society is at entirely too young an age, he doesn’t really want to be one anymore. Hawks is nice, though.

He vowed to destroy heroes and all they stood for. Everyone took comfort in the fact that the heroes would take care of him.
That is, until All Might went missing after a televised battle with Deku.
