Summary

I can’t take the boy with me, I wouldn’t even know what to do with him. Take him to school? Cook him meals? Come on, I can barely take care of myself, less of all of another human being. Even worse, a teenager!”
“The boy will be delivered to the Stark Tower at thirteen hundred today,” Fury said. “Good talk, Stark.”
And before Tony could even think of adding something to make his argument even more valid than it already was, Fury was gone in a swish of dark coat, leaving Tony to try and figure out what the hell he was gonna do now.

Danny has no idea why he started calling Steve “babe” in the first place.
It just kind of, sort of happened. Slip of the tongue, heat of the moment – whatever it was, the first time the word escaped his lips Danny almost froze on the spot from surprise. Not Steve, though – Steve didn’t even flinch and just rolled with it, as if it was just. Normal.
The second time it happened, Danny said it without even thinking; only, it didn’t really feel so wrong, did it? Steve, of course, didn’t seem to notice, or care.
Then it just kept on happening, sort of.

Phil watched him with the corner of his eye as Clint came closer to him, emotions running through his face, and he was maybe a little surprised when he noticed he could figure them all out, one by one. There was lust, that was incredibly visible in his thin, lucid lips and eyes; there was wild entertainment, right there, at the corner of his lips, and some excitement too. And there was joy, painted bright all over his face, and Phil realized he had never seen him like this before.
His heart jumped to his throat when he also realized he was the one doing that to Clint.
