Summary
“Jaybird!” Dick yells as soon as he pulls the double doors open, and Jason can see the trail of little ducklings behind him.
Duke, Steph, Cass, and Tim are in a neat line behind Dick, and they all look miserable. They’re all wearing pajamas, each with their own tissue box. Damian is standing apart from them with his arms crossed, and Alfred The Cat is perched precariously on his shoulder, but the illusion of an upset healthy prepubescent teenager is very obviously ruined by a very red nose, and the pale pallor of his normally deep tan.
Dick is the only one who doesn’t look miserable, and Jason laments his own health and simultaneously curses Dick’s extremely abysmal culinary abilities and prowess.
Jason has no words. He wants to step back, away from the sick children. He wants to go back to his germ-free apartment and watch the newest episode of Great British Bake Off with Roy.
He takes a step back.

Or, wherein Tim got his spleen taken by Ra's like in canon but little does everyone know that Jason had sold his spleen when he was a kid to try and get Catherine into rehab (and she still died of a drug overdose.)

Summary
Dr. Ryland Grace was enjoying his day off.
It was still morning, so he was sipping his cup of coffee as he sat in one of his chairs, wrapped in his colorful quilt. He held a tablet in one hand, using it to read one of the thousands of books available to him. It was quiet in his home- peaceful and cozy, just the way he liked it. He expected to be alone most of the day, since Rocky mentioned having things to do today. He wasn’t sure what, but it’s not like Grace knew every single thing Rocky got up to.
Rocky had a job, after all.
Of course, that wasn’t to say that Grace didn’t. Of course he did. He was teaching the next generation of Science Eridians(tm), and he couldn’t be more proud. They were quick learners, thanks to the Eridian’s near-photographic memory. He should probably spend some time coming up with his lesson plan for his next class.
One more chapter, then he would do his lesson planning. He was too cozy to move.
Alas, the universe rarely let him stick to his plans.

“Aw,” the druid coos, “So much fire. So much rage in that trembling heart of yours. It’d be a shame if I simply quashed it, wouldn’t it?”
Keith stares straight at the druid. He bores his eyes into the shine of its face and looks his reflection dead in the eye. “Fuck—you.”
The druid tips its head all the way back till its face is far out of sight and it laughs. It shrills and twitches and ticks and shakes. “So much fire!” It shrieks. “So much fire and it’s—”
The druid reaches forward and wraps its long fingers around Keith’s face. They’re like icicles searing his skin with blinding cold. It might’ve drawn blood. He doesn’t know.
“—all gone.” The druid faces him again. “All gone.”
Keith shivers under the touch. He doesn’t understand. “What?”-
A Blade mission goes astray when Keith has an unfortunate run-in with a druid. He falls sick soon after, and is handed into Voltron’s care until he recovers. While he’s there, he contemplates his place in the universe, the depth of his illness and its mysterious connection to Lance, and why he’s not getting better.

Look. He didn’t ask to be stuck in some scummy city in New Jersey of all places. If it was up to him, he’d still be in his mom’s apartment in New York, in the only home he’d ever known. But that was over. And sure it sucked, but it was fine. Percy was a New Yorker, and more importantly, he was a Jackson. He was more than capable of taking care of himself. Besides, it was New Jersey. He wasn’t going to let it best him.
