Utowin demonstrated the wrist angle again, and in doing so turned toward Easthies slightly, bringing his arm across, closer. "Like this," he said to the junior witch. "See the angle?" He held the position a beat longer than necessary, his forearm near Easthies' line of sight. "Better view?" he asked.
The junior witch was looking between them with the expression of someone trying to determine whether she was supposed to be learning something.
Easthies said, with perfect composure: "Adequate."
"High praise," said Utowin, and the junior witch got the sense that she was not the person being spoken to.Luluci and Galga has been observing... certain thing.... about certain people... that is clearly, blindly, stupidly in love.
