Well, the first chapter was basically the previous story from Loki's POV. It was interesting seeing how is thought process but a bit repetitive.
The second chapter was just a teaser, though an interesting conversation. 🤔 ...Except eating the apple in the Garden of Eden actually removed the innocence from Adam and Eve and caused them to be punished, not live longer but shortened their lifespan instead. If I'm remembering that correctly. It's been decades since I've read the Bible. 👀💦 I was never very religious despite believing that there is a God and having grown up Catholic. 😅 Anyway, the stories are more opposite than anything, despite having apples in common. 🤷🏻♀️

Well, the grammar isn't great. It needs a lot of work actually. That said, the storyline itself is actually pretty good if you can slog through the way it's written. The ending was cute. 😊
...I would be amused if it turned out that the mead was made with golden apples and Pepper eventually gets to drink one too. I figure if it's turned into mead it wouldn't quite have the same effect as eating a golden supposedly does but it might extend health and lifespan to a bit more than normal. That would be something a trickster would pull, wouldn't it? Wouldn't want to lose his new family too soon.... 😏
