Summary
What you'll get in this re-write:
Bella returns to Forks after seven years.
She never figured out Jacob's secret. She now actually uses her brain to figure it out.
Jacob imprints on Bella, and with that comes love and pain, in equal, messy measure.
The Pacific Northwest in all its moody, dangerous, gorgeous glory.
No vampires, and no Cullens.
A story that respects the Quileute tribe as much as possible, given the misrepresentations in the original story.
You'll also get music recommendations. This is a story about what it really means to imprint, to be part of a pack, to protect someone you love, and to try to save a friendship while your heart is in the way.
It probably goes explicit later on.

Summary
No, seriously, you need to read part one
While the Valar were figuring out how to read a calendar, Freya did the math. She got to review the homework before taking the test this time, which was nice, but that made the most likely endgame obvious. She knew from the second she offered to do it that reverse fetch-questing an evil ring was going to be rough. She was trying anyway. Because she was very, very stupid.
She expected to pay a high price for the chance to stay.
She didn’t expect there to be an extra cost at the end.
Or for them to both pay it.
Or to be asked for more.Series

Summary
Elrond nodded smoothly. “I would be pleased to manage the construction projects in both Lindon and Imladris. If you…would prefer to avoid, ah, similar distractions from the stonemasons' council in the future.”
Gil-galad looked back to the sketch Elaniel had left. He admired the rough outlines, seeing charcoal prints where her fingers had smoothed out dark lines.
You are three weeks too late. I am already more than distracted.
“No need,” Gil-galad said softly. “The distraction is not…wholly unwelcome.” He inhaled and gently set the sketch down, turning to face Elrond fully. “A life without distraction would be tedious, I suspect. I would not know, of course. But I suspect.”
---
Elaniel, a stonemason fleeing the fall of Eregion, makes her way to Lindon - and Gil-galad. Amid the chaos of preparing for a war against Sauron, their growing love is tested by the weight of duty: his to lead armies into peril, hers to rebuild what darkness has destroyed.
The pull of two fëa is strong for the Eldar. But is duty stronger?
