立志攻读医学院的准高三生圣臣，在某天晚上却被妈妈强行拖出门，来见即将从宫城去东京读大学的友人之子。
但……不得不承认，圣臣心中对那家伙的预期并没有如此之低。毕竟明治大学是一所体面的学府，而能够被预录取，至少说明对方不是圣臣在学校常常见到的那种好吃懒做、不求上进的蠢货。
然而，答应妈妈时，他并没有预料到会在洗手间遇到对方。恰好发现他是那种会在洗手后用手帕仔细擦干水份、再折叠收好的人。

But if the worst it says is simply that he and Kiyoomi don’t “match,” then -- SO WHAT?
They are lucky, yes—but above all, they are hard-working. In the end, luck is just the garnish; effort is what truly lets their volleyball bloom and bear fruit.
