Summary
In 1983, months before Will Byer's disappearance, Steve Harrington goes missing.
It's not big news and the police say they know where he's gone, but they won't share anything else. It's something Steve is grateful for. After all, if anyone found out he was in a group home for troubled and unwanted kids, rooming with one Eddie 'The Freak' Munson, he'd never be able to go back.
But as Eddie pushes his buttons and his therapist forces him to untangle some of his twisted thoughts and memories, Steve realizes maybe--just maybe--he doesn't want to go back to normal.

Summary
It’s far too noisy in here, almost like a physically oppressive thing. It makes Eddie’s skin feel funny, like it’s too tight and wants to vibrate right off his body.
It’s way better at the bar, away from the dance floor. Too close to the speakers and the music rattles Eddie’s chest, makes it feel like his heart is pulsing to the music. The air in his lungs is thudding along with the beat. It’s bearable, for a little while, but Eddie’s been here for a couple of hours now and he can feel himself hitting his limit. He keeps one hand in his pocket so he can pull on the loose strands there; letting them slide against the pads of his fingers, again and again. He wriggles his toes in his boots; it gives him another sensation to focus on.

(On Hiatus/Being Rewritten)
Lee had been known to have her clumsy moments but she felt she had somehow taken it to another level when her shoulder clipped, rather harshly might she add, with a student coming through the doorway as she was coming out of it.
Strong hands encircled the wide curves of her generous hips as she stumbled. Her hands instinctively coming up towards a strong white t-shirt clad chest.
Wide golden brown eyes locked on twinkling teal blue ones, "I am so sorry."
"Don't sweat it, Doll."
Lee felt her bones turn to jello.
