"Before Katsuki stood a long marble staircase, guarded by two pairs of knights on both the top and bottom. The staircase was lined with gardens of roses growing on either side of the stone. At the top of the staircase was a tastefully decorated veranda with six smooth white pillars. The light of a crystal chandelier shone from the doorway, creating a warm pathway to follow inside.
It was beautiful.

He’s balancing on the ledges of the flooded sandbox with his arms out, trying not to fall when a familiar looking red, blue and yellow ball bounces over the ledge and lands in the water with a splash. It bobs on the surface of the water, floating around before finally settling in the middle.
“Oh no!”A whiny voice exclaims, sounds of gravel crunching beneath little light up All-Might themed velcro sneakers getting louder and louder, “My ball…”
Katsuki points at the ball, “That’s yours?”
The kid— he has dark green curly hair, sparkling eyes and cool little dots scattered across his face, concentrated on the bridge of his nose and his cheeks. Katsuki doesn’t know what they’re called and it pisses him off.
A lot of things piss him off.

Summary
Hidden away in a valley entrapped inside a near insurmountable mountain range is the mythical town of Musutafu. The people in it don't know that to the rest of the world they're discussed in late-night tales in the form of legends. But how would they know? No one has entered or exited Musutafu in a very, very long time. Those that do leave, braving the forest, are never heard of again.
Because deep in the pitch-black, ominous woods is a monster of unknown proportions. The citizens of this lonely village do not know what it looks like, or why it targeted them specifically all those generations ago, but they do know why they are kept. Every now and then, sometimes months or sometimes years apart, someone in the town will snap and bend to the silent call the secretive monster emits. In exchange, the forest always provides.
But this can not last forever, can it? As much as his mother believes otherwise, Izuku knows that this can not be eternal. And one day, he's proven right.
The forest beckons to him.

“It’s haunting me, I can’t think of anything else,” Izuku said through hiccuped breaths.
“That can’t be what you remember when you see me now, I won’t let it be” Katsuki would fix it, he’d help Izuku see him again.
“Kacchan-” Izuku started like he didn’t believe Katsuki could overwrite that. But Katsuki could do anything, Izuku had always said so.
So Katsuki kissed Izuku. Then kissed him again.
Again, and again until Izuku’s lips were finding his just as frantically. Until Izuku was using his grip on Katsuki’s face to pull him in closer, until Katsuki’s hand slid away from Deku’s eyes to thread into dirty green curls.
~~The first moments that Katsuki and Izuku get to be alone after the war sparks desperate, messy sex that is sweet loving sex to them.
