Summary
If someone had told Izuku Midoriya a year ago that Katsuki Bakugo would start calling him by his first name, he would have been skeptical; If they’d told him he’d make it into U.A., he probably would’ve laughed in their face.
And yet, here he is.
Because Katsuki does start saying it—“Izuku,” casually, like it’s always fit into their relationship.
Except it doesn’t fit.
Because there is nothing normal about the way his composure cracks the moment Katsuki says “Izuku”. And the reaction he has with each name thrown his way doesn't get better—it stays unnatural and alien, and far too troubling to ever be reasonable. But he doesn't want Katsuki to stop. In fact, he'd rather if he never stopped calling him Izuku.
